The PMD System allows growers and post harvest processors to effortlessly monitor and maintain the exact amount of BioSafe Systems’ product required to treat irrigation and processing water systems. The PMD System is an integral part of any food safety program and is compatible with SaniDate 12.0, SaniDate 5.0, StorOx 2.0, and OxiDate.

The PMD System has a proprietary monitoring probe that utilizes a special sensor for the measurement of activated peroxygen product. If concentrations are off, the PMD System corrects the issue automatically. A programmable controller provides real time, on-line measurement. The system will accommodate previously determined set points and will initiate the dosing pump to inject the necessary amount of product to maintain the required level of active ingredient. The dosing pump utilizes a microprocessor for the flexible control of stroke length and frequency of operation, as well as batch size, remote on/off, contact pulse, and 14-day programmable timer operations. The probe will automatically determine when the required amount of product has been achieved and will shut off the dosing pump.

The system also provides a data recorder that plugs into the controller for full documentation of all operations. The controller is provided with software to enable the information to easily be downloaded onto any commercially available laptop computer via a USB cable. The PMD System records the exact amount of product that has been used to provide a complete set of documentation that will satisfy all food safety audit requirements, as well as documentation of the overall system operation.
