New Label Additions to OxiDate^® 5.0 for CA Grown Tree Nuts

EAST HARTFORD, CT – BioSafe Safe Systems has issued a new FIFRA section 2(ee) use recommendation to their newest, flagship disease control product. As per use recommendation, OxiDate 5.0 can be used to treat and control the following pathogens on California grown tree nuts: Monilinia spp., Xanthomonas arboricola pv. prunus, Xanthomonas campestris pv. Juglandis, Pseudomonas syringae, Botryosphaeria dothidea, and Wilsonmyces carpophilus. This new FIFRA section 2(ee) use recommendation permits OxiDate 5.0 to treat the following pathogens at preventative, curative and rescue rates*.

The Monilinia spp. pathogen has the potential to decimate an Almond yield if left untreated. Almonds are susceptible to infection from the beginning of hullsplit until the hulls have dried. During this window of vulnerability, it is recommended to treat the almond crop frequently with high volume sprays; coating each tree from ‘top to bottom’ for thorough disease management. In this regard, the affordability and minimal REI and PHI make OxiDate 5.0 the ideal tank mix partner for Monilinia spp. control.
