The BioSafe Systems’ Cap Tool comes in handy when opening 2.5 or 5-gallon containers because the nature of our chemistry creates pressure that can make the caps difficult to remove. It makes opening containers easier when you’re pouring, using a vented spigot, or feed tube to dispense the concentrate. It can remove the cap altogether or take out the yellow plug before inserting a helpful pour device.
Step-by-Step
1. Put on proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
2. Place the cap tool on the cap and give it a twist to the left
If you’re using a vented spigot, or a feed tube:
1. Put on proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
2. Take the flat end of the cap tool and insert it into the yellow Phillips head hole on top of the cap and turn to the left.
3. Remove the yellow knock-out plug.
4. Screw in the vented spigot or drop in your feed tube.
