EAST HARTFORD, CT — BioSafe Systems will be adding a new Technical Sales Representative to the team in March. Jose Miguel Martinez Torres will be our first, full-time, international hire to help develop profitable opportunities in Mexican markets and the Southwest region of the US. Miguel will be working with another seasoned technical sales representative to support the region, Luis Hansen. Miguel earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry Engineering from the Technological Institute of Celaya in Mexico and aims to further his education, seeking another degree in Administration and Food Safety with a focus on Good Practices of Manufacturing.
Miguel developed his experience by working with multiple facets of food safety. He worked for Coseci Agro as a food safety consultant with a focus on fresh produce including farms, greenhouse, produce cooling, packinghouses, and harvest crews.
We’re excited to add Miguel’s experience to our food safety team and develop our international presence as a sustainable and effective business.
