This year’s highly successful WEFTEC took place in New Orleans, Louisiana, and BioSafe Systems was well represented and fully engaged shaking hands and talking about our sustainable solutions for all types of water treatment. Tom Warmuth, our national lake and pond specialist is no newcomer to the event, but this year we brought our new wastewater representative, Bob Greene, to run the booth with him.
Both reps said the event’s turnout was great and the energy was high. The hot topic at the booth this year was algae control at wastewater treatment plants, which combines the knowledge of both Tom and Bob. GreenClean® PRO is the headlining product that controls algae on hard surfaces like walkways, weirs, and ladders to increase worker safety. Our other contribution to the wastewater industry is in the disinfection realm where SaniDate® 15.0 has been very successful in disinfecting municipal waters of bacteria, pathogens, and disease-causing microorganisms.
We rolled out the green carpet again, giving passersby the chance to make a putt and then enter to win our BOOM3 speaker. Folks who made a hole in one took a “Mug Shot” with our free BioSafe Systems coffee mug. Scroll to find out if we did see you at WEFTEC!
