TerraStart works by penetrating soil through drip or drench irrigation and uses an oxidation chemical reaction to kill bacteria, fungus and spores. More specifically, TerraStart reacts with the enzymes and proteins that make up simple cell organisms on contact.

Special instructions for bedding plants and other sensitive species
For sensitive species and bedding plants, such as impatiens and pansies, use the low rate of 1.5 oz./10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. and increase spray frequency. Discontinue applications when blossoms buds become visible.

Use the low rate of 1.5 oz./10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. weekly during vegetative growth prior to bract formation.
