BioSafe Systems’ Eric Smith nominated for leadership post of Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA)

EAST HARTFORD, CT – BioSafe Systems’ has announced that their East Coast Sales Manager for T&O, Eric Smith, has been nominated to serve as Secretary/Treasurer of the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA) during the upcoming term beginning in August. Formal installations for Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President and President take place at. FNGLA’s Annual Convention- this year being held in St. Augustine, FL, August 14-15th.

Eric has been an active member of the FNGLA since 2008, having served at different levels of leadership in three separate Chapters (Frontrunners, Action and Tampa Bay) including State Representative, Board of Directors and Chapter President. His membership in the Association has helped him network with peers and mentors alike and engage as a young professional in the diverse markets of the Florida ‘green industry’.

Eric represents BioSafe Systems’ mantra of “Simply Sustainable, Always Effective”. Beginning at the University of Florida earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management in Agriculture and continuing to his current position as the East Coast Sales Manager for BioSafe in the Turf and Ornamental segment. Eric’s position with BioSafe Systems promoting sustainable alternatives across multiple markets throughout Florida will help add a state-wide perspective to the leadership position.
