What is the active ingredient in AzaGuard?

AzaGuard’s primary active ingredient is a highly concentrated 3% Azadirachtin formulation. Azadirachtin, a chemical compound belonging to the liminoid group, is formulated through an extraction process of the neem tree, mainly from the seeds that yield the purest form of the neem extract. AzaGuard’s raw neem oil extract is then put through a complex biosynthesis to create a concentrated, high-grade Azadirachtin formula that yields a higher percentage of critical limonoid components including nimbin, nimbidinin, and salannin.


What is AzaGuard's mode of action?

AzaGuard Insecticide/Nematicide is a versatile IPM tool that allows for field application on over 150+ different fruit and vegetable crops while also being labeled for greenhouse ornamental applications. AzaGuard is most commonly applied in a foliar insecticide program and can be rotated and/or tank-mixed with other synthetic and botanical insecticides. For soil applications AzaGuard can be drenched into the soil profile, as well as chemigated directly through drip irrigation systems to control various subterranean root herbivores. AzaGuard is labeled to be applied through high and low volume sprayers, fogging applications, aerial applicators, and chemigated through various irrigation systems.

    Plant treatment

    Corrective

    1. Use a dilution 0.85 fl. oz. (5.1 teaspoons) of ZeroTol HC per gallon of water. Do not reuse already mixed solution, make fresh daily.
    2. Spray, mist or fog plants in early morning or late evening.
    3. Thoroughly wet all surfaces of plant, upper and lower foliage, including stems, branches and stalks to ensure full contact with plant and flower tissue.
    4. Apply consecutive applications until control is achieved and then follow directions for preventative treatment.

    Preventative

    1. Use a dilution 0.64 fl. oz. of ZeroTol HC per gallon of clean water.
    2. Spray, mist, or fog plants.
    3. Thoroughly wet all surfaces of plant, upper and lower foliage, including stems, branches, and stalks.
    4. Spray every 5-7 days as a preventive treatment.

    Note: If disease recurs, return to corrective measures for 3 days.

    Surface treatment

    1. Sweep and remove all debris. Use power sprayer to wash all surfaces to remove loose dirt.
    2. Use a dilution 0.85 fl. oz. (5.1 teaspoons) of ZeroTol HC per gallon of water.
    3. Apply solution with mop, sponge, pump or power sprayer, or fogger to thoroughly wet all surfaces.
    4. Allow to remain wet with solution for one (1) minute. Air dry. Do not rinse.
    5. Scrub off heavy growths of algae and fungi following application. Use a solution of ZeroTol HC to wash away dead growth.

    ZeroTol 2.0 Application Rates
    Foliar spray 0.5–1.25 fl. oz./gallon. Use non-ionic spreader/sticker. Use lower rate more frequently on softer vegetation.

    ZeroTol 2.0 solution is tank mix compatible with listed solution. Due to varied sensitivity of plants to chemicals under given set of growing conditions and plant varieties, it’s recommended to conduct an additional phytotoxicity evaluation on small set of plants to ensure tank mix solution is safe before using on large scale.

    ZeroTol 2.0 solution is either not tank mix compatible or tank mix partner is not specifically tested for compatibility. Standard jar test and phytotoxicity evaluations need to be conducted before considering for tank mixing.

How should TerraClean 5.0 be used?

TerraClean 5.0 works by surface contact with the soils being treated. It is important to ensure that all surfaces are thoroughly wetted and that sufficient quantities of the finished solution are applied to penetrate the soil being treated. Areas treated with TerraClean 5.0 do not need to be covered with tarps or protective plastic. TerraClean 5.0 is not a fumigant.

    Crop Irrigation Water 1:22,000 – 1:2,750 5.8 – 46.5 fluid oz /1,000 gallons Product can be injected directly into the irrigation water at the point of intake. For best results, continuous injection into the water is recommended every time crop is irrigated or at a minimum, in the last 2 – 3 irrigations prior to harvest.
    Treatment of Irrigation Systems 1:500 – 1:2,500 0.4 – 2.0 gallons / 1,000 gallons Allow a contact time of 6 – 12 hours or overnight if possible. Open ends of irrigation lines and flush with irrigation water. Depending on the contamination level in the irrigation system as determined by water analysis a second shock treatment may be necessary.

SaniDate 5.0 works through an oxidation chemical reaction that kills bacteria and fungus. More specifically, SaniDate 5.0 reacts on contact with the enzymes and proteins that make up simple cell organisms such as animal and human health pathogens.


What applications can I make with SaniDate 5.0?

Direct injection into water lines, evaporative cooler systems and livestock water treatments

For treatment of water containing plant pathogens, inject SaniDate 5.0 and maintain a predetermined residual level by using metering equipment, coupled with ORP measuring probes.

Fogging

SaniDate 5.0 can be used as an adjunct to acceptable manual cleaning and disinfecting to treat hard, non-porous room surfaces.

Foaming

Use SaniDate 5.0 with a foaming agent to increase product contact time. Ideal for use on vertical or irregular surfaces.

Mold and Mildew Control

SaniDate 5.0 effectively inhibits the growth of mold, mildew, and the odors they cause when applied to hard non-porous, non-food contact surfaces.
